We had a great time making Christingles with Year 2. It is the 50 th anniversary of the Christingle. Christingle Services are very familiar around Christmas.
The Childfen’s Society provide churches and schools with the candles, red tape etc to make Christingles and hope that money will be raised for their work. The Children’s Society help vulnerable young people who are carers for their parents, have parents who have various addictions, young people who have run away from home and much more.
They have projects in both Chelmsford and Colchester and work with families there.
