Year 3 took a trip down to the church this morning to learn about the history of St Mary’s Church. In particular, we focused on the era of the ‘Victorians’. We were able to learn all about the influence that the Victorians have had over our local church and went on a hunt for anything in the church that we have the Victorians to thank for. As well as this, we also had the opportunity to do some sewing and make peg dolls, much like the children would have done in the Victorian era.
