This morning, Year 6 led the whole school Remembrance Service at our church (with help from Father Simon). They read from the service, shared examples of the Remembrance poetry, which we had written last week and had composed prayers to commemorate this historic event. The whole service was both powerful and moving; it culminated with Year 6 laying a wreath to say thank you on behalf of us all, to those who had sacrificed their lives for us. All the children in the school demonstrated great respect.
