As we are in the winter season we put on our wellies and searched around the garden for anything that had changed from the Autumn season. The children found dead twigs, leaves, pine cones and a spiders web. Then we all listened for sounds around us and heard the birds chirping. On Tuesday we went around the school to look for some mud for our outside kitchen. We searched and found some on the field behind the reception class. We all took turns to dig using spades. One child found some ice.
