Who’s been eating my porridge?

When the children were playing with the counting bears earlier this week, they were talking about the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears so we decided to play out the story with some props. We had a Daddy Bear who was the biggest, Mummy Bear who was smaller and Baby Bear who was the smallest. We pretended they had some porridge in different sized bowls with different sized spoons and changed our voices to make us sound like each character to retell the story.

We measured porridge oats into different sized pots outside and talked about when they were full up and empty.

We made some chairs and beds from the waffle blocks and even found balls to match each character.

As you can see, we have been very busy with exciting things to play and learn.
