From this term onwards we will be thinking more about blending sounds into words orally and listening for the beginning sounds (initial sounds) in words.
If your child talks about this at home, it would be great if you could support this by using the correct pronunciation of phonetic sounds. This is a useful video which will help you as the sounds have changed and it is important that we all use them correctly.
