Games lessons

Since Easter we have been learning tennis skills and fortunately for us, Tuesday proved dry enough to get outside and practice further.  In particular we have been concentrating on picking the point at which the ball has to bounce in front of a partner for them to be able to return the ball to you.  This has proved tricky but with perseverance the children are really beginning to make progress and have worked in great partnerships together.

As today saw the return of the rain we used our hall time to play some team games involving target hitting with a bean bag and then the trolleys for travelling across the floor to get the bean bags into the hoops.

Well done Year 2 – super sportspeople!!
