This afternoon I wanted to see what 2J would do with lots of different numeracy resources.
So, we had 3D and 2D shapes, dominoes, beads, numicon, playing cards and much more placed on the tables.
The children began grouping, making patterns, finding half etc!
As a teacher this was great to see the children exploring numeracy in a fun and investigative way (without them actually thinking its maths…)
