This week we have focused on the long /ee/ sound.
The patterns we have found trickiest are words ending in the /ee/ sound. For example silley not silly, hony not honey. Here are some common rules to use when choosing which pattern to use.
|Often these words are describing words (hilly, spotty, snappy).||These words are nouns. If you can hear a ‘k’ then you know it will end ‘key’.|
