Onomatopoiea OR sound words. Yesterday we got the instruments out to learn about sound words. We started by using the instruments to make sounds our jungle book characters might make, then we turned these into words.
In the afternoon, we used this skill to learn about the planet’s oceans. We wote a sound poem using words to describe animals linked to their hbitat. Here are some of our poems.
