Today in PE we thought about what made a good game. We came up with a list of things that a good game included like being fun, safe, inclusive and without too many instructions.
In groups, we came up our own new games that fitted the ideas on our list. Then we went outside and played them. Some of the games needed tweaking so that they would work but we decided that others were really good as they were.
When we got back to class, we discussed our favourite things about them and agreed that we would play them again next week during our break times.
There were other ideas and games we thought of that we didn’t have time to try. I have told the children that if they can write the instructions down, for these games, over the weekend then we will try these games at breaktime too.
