As part of our topic we have designed and created our own ‘pinecone’ pets based of different animals. Once we made them we used them to inspire different pieces of writing, including character profiles, descriptions of the habitats they chose to live in and instructions for how to care for them. We also used recycled objects to build homes for them to live in. Soon we will be writing stories about the adventures they go on!
