What an exciting trip! Children and adults alike thoroughly enjoyed their time at Barleylands on Thursday. The children we exceptionally well-behaved and a true credit to our school.
We took part in a range of activities such as: learning how crops grow, seeing a working farm, feeding the animals, riding on a tractor and making pizza! The idea of the trip was to understand the process of ‘field to folk’ and the staff at Barleylands shared a wealth of knowledge to support the children’s learning.
Due to timings, some of the children were unable to go on the ‘big pillow’ but each child was sent a free pass so perhaps with half-term and summer fast approaching, they might be able to return!
Thank you for your support with the cost of the coach.
