SCARF Day!

Today was SCARF day across the school, promoting awareness of mental health. Everybody wore a scarf to support the values of Safety, Caring, Achievement, Resilience and Friendship.

We have spent this week engaging in PSHE lessons to encourage the message of speaking out to those around you and not being afraid to ask for help. Yesterday, both classes produced an achievement wall, to highlight what every member of the class has to be proud of. Today, we created worry balloons to help us all understand how to control our worries and at the same time supporting the idea of not being afraid to let our balloons worries go.

It was so lovely to see so many friendly faces at open door today and we hope you all have a happy and safe half term. We look forward to seeing you back at school on the week of 21st February, ready for our Mosque School Trip on Tuesday 22nd February.
