Across the school this week, we have been celebrating ‘World Book Week’ alongside sharing our love for reading. In Year 3 we have been doing all sorts to show our love for reading.
For starters, we have begun our story sack project to develop an alternative way to read a much loved and well-known story. We then will be lucky enough to have the opportunity to share these with Year 2 next week, which is very exciting!
On Tuesday, we were fortunate enough to join Dermot O’Leary via zoom, alongside many other schools in Essex, to hear all about his love for reading and his role as an author to his famous book series based on ‘Toto the Ninja Cat’.
Then finally, to top off the week we all looked fabulous dressed up for both World Book Day and in support of this years charity ‘Scotty’s Little Soldiers’.
