Good morning year 4,

well done Team Year 4! You have made it to the final day of the week. Your learning has been fantastic, and we have been very impressed with all your efforts. I hope you all have some rest over the weekend.

Here is some more information for you:

Lockdown Idea: why not take a visit to Rob’s website where he has a collection of quick learning videos, showing you how to draw a variety of animals and creatures. What can you create?

English: staying connected

It is very important that we stay connected to friends and family during these strange times. It is very important to keep talking and sharing our feelings and emotions. For the task today, we would like you to think about three people who are important to you, and think about how you are going to stay in touch with them. Are you going to send a text message? An email or write them a letter? Also, think about what you are going to do when you meet them again. There is a template below if you wish to use this or you could present your work in a different way.

Solving life’s problems: ordering and comparing money

Watch the learning video to help you understand how we order and compare different amounts of money. If you are feeling confident, why not use a shopping receipt and create your own comparison questions. Or why not try the Nrich challenge task?

Topic: designing a Kimono

For the task today, we would like you to design and draw your very own Kimono. Read through the information slides below to learn more about the Kimono. Then, watch the short video clip which shows how a Kimono is traditionally worn.

Have a great day year 4, and have a lovely weekend!

The Year Four Team.
