Both Mrs Colgrave and I have been impressed with the attitude the children have shown towards their learning since returning from the Christmas holidays – keep it up everyone!
The first week back has been a busy one and included:
- beginning our learning on gymnastics – static shapes
- painting our Roman pots from before Christmas
- planning our new topic on Walt Disney and animation
- using clues to order Disney films for history
- writing based on David Attenborough’s fantastic Blue Planet
- 5F have been finishing off their learning on decimals and 5C have learnt about division in numeracy
- Football in the Community – football skills
