Ping Pong – Table Tennis Posted on November 27th, 2018 Table Tennis or Ping Pong began in the 1880s (during the Victorian era) when tennis players adapted their game to play indoors during the winter. The name “Ping-Pong” was invented by the English firm J. Jaques and Son at the end of the 1800s.
