Knowing your times tables is a key part of learning within numeracy. In 5F, we use different strategies to improve our times table recall. The children can choose the method(s) they would like to use each time.
- filling out a times table practice grid
- playing times table bingo
- using ICT programmes
- using playing cards or digit cards and multiplying the cards together
- solving a times table puzzle
This helps to make the learning fun, interesting and relevant.
