It may be near the end of term, but in 5S it’s been all systems go! In maths we used spaghetti and marshmallows to create 3D shapes. We thought about the different properties of these shapes, such as faces, vertices and edges.
In science we learnt about how states of matter transition to another state. We investigated what happened when Alta-Seltzer tablet were dissolved in water. We found that the gas created as a by-product could start to blow up a balloon!
5S performed their imaginative gymnastics routines, using mirroring and matching movements, as well as counter tension balances. We also got a chance to enjoy the new additions to the gymnastics frame!
