Between production practice, tag rugby, practical maths work, peer reviewing writing and Kung Fu dancing- it’s been a hectic week in 5S!
In maths we have been using different manipulatives to develop our reasoning skills. We used multilink to show square and cube numbers and then moved on to looking at division by sharing.
We continued our Kung Fu dancing this week and had great fun creating our own routines.
In science we have been studying the human body and how Olympic athletes keep fit and healthy. We worked as team to complete the musculoskeletal system.
We have been writing persuasive texts to encourage people to visit Beijing this winter. We peer reviewed each others writing to learn from each other. I was very impressed with some of the thoughtful comments children left for their classmates work.
In PE we have continued developing our throwing, catching and sprinting skills in tag rugby.
