Wow ! What a great week we had last week. We carried out learning about the Ancient Egyptians, and mummified a tomato. It was great fun! Also, we learnt about Ancient Egyptian beliefs about the afterlife as well as writing recounts about the Sphinx in English. In PE, we created a short dance piece about the building of the pyramids. We thought about the kind of movements the buildings would make and used music to create a short sequence. Also this week, we were joined by Mrs. Gibson from Rickstones Academy. She taught us some common Spanish phrases. We worked in partners to create sentences in Spanish and then translated these into English.
