As part of our ‘Famous Faces’ topic, this week we have been learning about Marcus Rashford. We have learnt that he campaigned to fight food poverty in this country and how inspirational he is. As part of our learning, we made a healthy snack and then designed logos for these in computing. In English, we created persuasive posters to advertise our healthy snacks. In maths, we learnt about budgeting and we had to think about how we would spend our monthly income on things such as food, entertainment and rent – this made us really think about the use of money in the real world. Finally, this afternoon we loved playing rounders, outside in the sunshine!
