As part of our famous faces topic this term, we have been researching footballer, Marcus Rashford and his work for children.
Inspired by Rashford’s work extending Free School Meals and healthy eating, we created our own fruit kebabs. The class were excited to try some new fruits and created some colourful snacks. We also designed posters to advertise our snacks in ICT and used persuasive techniques to sell them in English.
Following on from learning about Rashford’s work, in maths, we focused on budgeting and saving to plan our future lifestyles! The class enjoyed budgeting their expenses, including houses, pets and entertainment.
