On Wednesday afternoon we had great fun constructing catapults to fire a ‘cannon ball’ across the playground. We had to test the effect of increasing or decreasing the distance between the levers in order to make our catapult as effective as possible. Some groups managed to fire their ‘cannon balls’ more than 2 metres – very impressive!
