Pomegranates

Yesterday, we learnt about the Torah (the sacred books of Judaism) and investigated Rosh Hashanah – the Jewish New Year. We leant that during Rosh Hashanah, Jewish people often eat pomegranates as they are said to have 613 seeds – the same number, as the number of commandments in the Torah. We sampled some pomegranates ourselves, they were delicious and very, very juicy!
