As the children are learning more digraphs, they can read more words.
They can read I can see his using their tricky words and sounds (now they know ee), and then use the initial sound and picture clue to read toes. At some point they will learn the oe digraph, but we don’t know it yet so can use other strategies.
Please practise the digraphs in their sound bag and encourage them to use other strategies such as picture clues and contextual clues (what makes sense?). Some children are getting confused with other digraphs which they do not need to know yet.
