Adapting our environment

We are currently adapting our environment in order to provide more open ended opportunities for learning; adults can then respond to children’s learning and develop it further.

For example, the children decided to use the drainpipe to make a tunnel for cars; after a while, someone suggested making a road and now, a few days later, we are noticing how the cars travel further on some parts of the road (the smoother parts) than others. They are also taking turns, solving problems and setting their own challenges!
