Building on from our learning last term, we will be doing lots of writing practice over the next part of the year. We always encourage the children to draw and give meanings to their marks, but now we will also be doing guided sessions, including a handwriting session.
We teach how to write the letters in families, starting in the same place for each family – see attached sheet handwriting families Today, we have had a go at l, t and i, starting at the top of the ladder and coming down.
