VPlease remember to check sound boxes for new sounds and tricky words. You can make words for your child to read by ‘pressing the buttons’ and can ask your child to spell a word, sounding it out and putting the letters in order.
An effective and quick way to practise tricky words is to make a Speed Sheet; just list the tricky words you want your child to practise, writing them more than once, then randomly point to them. The idea is for them to be as quick as they can.
