We played a game with the dominoes where we had to pick a domino, count the spots and then see who had the smallest amount. It got us using lots of language to do with addition. We used out fingers to show the total, too. Some of us were thinking ahead, for example when the children’s team got a double one, someone knew I would want to get a 1 or a 0! But I didn’t, and the children’s team won!
