Home learning 6.1.21

Here are some activities.

Lego repeating patterns

Using Lego, Duplo or something similar, make a pattern for your child to continue. It could be a colour pattern or shape pattern, depending on what you use.

What is the pattern?

What colour do we need next?

What shape brick do we need next?

Does it look right?

Can you make me a pattern to copy?

Tallying is an easy way for children to record. Choose things to look for on a walk, for example cars, houses and trees and then encourage your child to make a tally mark when they see one of them.

How many cars did we see?

What did we see the most of?

What did we see the least of?

How many more_____ than _____did we see?
