Amazing creations and concentration

We have been demonstrating great concentration as we create and build: today, Miss J was very impressed with our amazing creations! When we create, we have to think, try out ideas, persevere and adapt: Creating and Thinking Critically is one of the Characteristics of Effective Learning. Reception learning is all about how we learn, not just what we learn.

A flower shop. Look at all the flowers inside!
A house.
After some learning about dinosaurs, some of us made our own dinosaur houses. We talked lots about the different types of dinosaurs, what they ate and what happened to them.
A dog school. There is a diving board for them to practise their jumping!
We had to persevere with the Ello construction as it is very fiddly! Here is a lovely flower garden.
