We hope you are pleased with your child’s progress in reading. Please remember that our book changing days are Monday and Thursday. It makes such a difference to children’s progress if they practise at home as well as at school.
It is a good idea to read the books more than once as your child will gain confidence in their reading skills. At school, we recap the story or content and any words we found difficult before reading the text again. Our comments in the yellow book should also point you in the direction of what to work on at home.
