Reverend Simon Garwood(Ex-officio Foundation Governor)The Revd. Simon Garwood has been Priest-in-Charge (Vicar) of St Mary’s Church Kelvedon and All Saints’ Church Feering since 2014.  Simon is an ‘ex-officio’ director, which means he was automatically appointed to the Board when he became Priest-in-Charge, since it is a Church of England school.  Simon is in school regularly, taking assemblies and working with the Head, RE Lead Teacher Miss Hutley and other staff.  He leads the annual school Christingle service, the whole-school Christmas, Easter and Harvest services in church, and takes two Holy Communion services in school, one for Year 3 (in March) and one for Year 6 (in November) to which parents and families are warmly invited.  He takes part in several other church-school events too, and is always willing to talk with families in confidence about any pastoral concerns they may have, whether they are linked to the school or not.  The children know him as ‘Father Simon’, but to adults he is more than happy to be just ‘Simon’!
