Councillors play a vital and active role in helping to improve our school and they have participated in various visits and conferences with other schools. Amongst our many achievements, we have:
- Together with RotaKids, supported several charities, including Autism Anglia, Scotty’s Little Soldiers, Braintree Foodbank, Water Aid, Macmillan Cancer, Essex Air Ambulance, Rotary Club’s Shelter Box campaign and End Polio Now, Sport Relief, Farm Africa, NSPCC, Children in Need, RNIB, Operation Christmas Child, Comic Relief, Save-a-Cow, Cancer Research
- Archaeological Dig returns at lunchtime
- Apple tree planting with the Kelvedon community orchard to mark Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
- Fundraising idea to support children from Ukraine shared with RotaKids
- Butter allowed on jacket potato if you ask as a result of a school vote
- Some councillors supported a University student with research for her dissertation
- Ideas to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
- More games for lunchtime shed including Snakes and Ladders, Twister, toy cars, pom-poms, gym ribbons, large jigsaw puzzles, Pogo hoppers, hoops, moon hoppers, space hopper set, French skipping, tennis balls
- Loom Bands, paper, felt pens, colouring pencils, glue sticks for Chill Out Club
- Green screen facility for ICT

- 2015 Parliament Flag winners for Essex. Our flag flown at Parliament and Runnymede to celebrate 800th Anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta
