On Tuesday, sixteen Year 4 athletes took part in an indoor athletics competition at Essex University. It was a busy event with lots of schools competing. Our team performed really well across all the activities, which included javelin throwing, five strides, jumping and speed bouncing as well as the relay races.
It was lovely to see some of the children representing the school for the first time and enjoying themselves in a team.
Our final placing overall was 4th, which was excellent given the number of schools taking part. Well done to all of you. Many thanks to the parents who came to support.
