Today, you will need to introduce your characters. One way to do this is for the main characters to have a conversation.

Maths: Applying your negative number learning –research the average day and night temperature in your chosen country and find out the difference.

As a challenge, complete the task across a range (2 to keep it simple or 7/8 as a challenge) of countries and compare them. You could choose the day and night temperature or maybe the temperature across the four seasons – it’s up to you. Display your workings out in a table. You could even use Excel to show your ICT skills.

You might like to use this idea across a number hours or days and work out the temperatures in different places in your house (if you have a thermometer and permission to use it).
