Thursday 14th January 2021 – Year 4 Home Learning Ideas

Good morning year 4. We hope you are having a nice week so far. Here are a few things to make you aware of:

  • Today, we will have our Google Meetings in the morning. Here is a recap of the details: https://kelvedonacademy.com/blogs/year-4-blog/2021/01/pshe-google-classroom-meeting/
  • For the Google Meets, we cannot put a link up too early. For Safeguarding reasons, GM requires two teachers to be online during the sessions. Therefore, we cannot allow children on to the meeting before we are. The link will appear on Google Classroom just before the session.
  • On Friday, Mr Collingwood is moving house! How exciting. 4C will hear from me (Miss Reece) via email and 4R from Miss Albone.
  • Next week (18th Jan), Mr Collingwood is in school. I will feedback to 4C and Miss Albone to 4R.
  • The week after (25th Jan), I am in school. So, Mr Collingwood will feedback to his class and Miss Albone to 4R.
  • Therefore, Google Meetings will start again the week commencing 1st February and we will be in touch with more information.

Can you create your own symbol with meaning?

Could you write your name? Could you write a sentence? Could you write the names of your family and give it to them to keep? Perhaps do it in pencil first and then go over it in paint or felt tip.

Have a great day! You’re all doing an absolutely fantastic job. We are very proud of you all.
