This week we have been measuring amounts to make playdoh. We have talked about the ingredients to use and discussed what they looked like, felt like, smelt like and tasted like.
We measured out a full mug of flour and hot water, half a mug of salt and a few drops of oil and food colouring.
We mixed all the ingredients together and talked about how the dough had changed.
We ued our hands to roll and fold the dough until it was ready to use.
When it was ready to use we had great fun rolling, folding, squeezing and moulding.
Playdoh recipe:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1sachet cream of tartar
drop oil
1 cup hot water
food colouring
Mix all ingredients together and knead until smooth.
